Establishing the "City of Trees Environment Plan" (Basic Environment Plan)

In order to comprehensively and systematically promote the policies for environmental conservation and creation, it is decided to establish the "City of Trees Environment Plan" in the Ordinance.
 And so, the Municipality willingly heard the opinions of Citizens,Corporations and the Environment Council, and established the"City of Trees Environment Plan" by the year of 1996.

After the "City of Trees Environment Plan" is established, every plan and activity concerned to the environment of Sendai City have to serve the purpose of this Plan.
 And concrete plans, states of promotions and the environmental condition of Sendai City are compiled as an annual report, and will be reported annually.
